Project overview
When purchasing a new vehicle from Volvo they offer all their clients a free 7 day insurance, to claim this they have to visit the website whilst at the dealership and have all their details entered. Once this is done, Volvo generate a quote for their insurance for after the 7 days. Volvo asked for a website to be created that matched their current brand where clients could go to retrieve their quote and make a purchase if they wanted.
Hypothesis
When a customer purchases a new car, there's a missed opportunity for Volvo to sell another product (insurance).


The solution
We gave Volvo customers the opportunity to get 7 days free insurance when they collect their new vehicle via an online portal which could be accessed by the salesman, as well as the customer.
The outcome
The project was successful from launch - so much so it turned in to similar projects for Renault, Land Rover and Kia.
